Added Lure Files No. 003 — The Heddon Lucky 13: its origins, century-long production story, modern lure photo, and vintage Heddon advertisement. It's officially classified as a topwater chugger/popper, so the entry covers the popper retrieve too and links to the Popper guide. Featured it on the homepage.

Added Issue 9 of the Bass Tackle Intelligence Report — October 2026: domestic tackle developments, JDM arrivals, and BFS, with product photos and sources collected at the end.
Corrected the Kurukoma product photo in the September report.

Expanded the Tail Spinner guide with a heavy casting approach (1/2–1 oz) for offshore and winter fish. It adds new retrieves, hookset and snag tips, more spots, and two new baits: the Damiki Axe Blade and the Blade Runner Line Through. Both are also in the Tail Spinner shop, along with two new Deracoup colors.

Published Three for October: buzzbait, squarebill and flat-side crank, and underspin picks for October, plus a bonus on the original Spook.
Added Three for October callouts to the Buzzbait, Crankbaits, Underspin, and Walking Baits guides.
Swapped the homepage feature card from Three for September to Three for October.

Published Issue 8 of the Bass Tackle Intelligence Report — September 2026 — the Doom Stroller hard-bait category, Abu Garcia VoltiQ, the global FFS rule split, and a deep JDM Watch.
Published the Three for September feature — spinnerbait, soft glide bait, and FFS jerkbait on brush, with cross-links to the spinnerbait, soft glide bait, and jerkbait guides and shop pages.
Fixed the photos on the Underspin technique page so each image matches its listed color and description.
Published a new feature article — How to Choose the Right Trailer: a practical system for matching trailer action, profile, and color to the bait and conditions.

Added the Missile Baits Buzz Wagon Buzzbait to the shop and the buzzbait technique guide — a skirtless skipping buzzbait built around a soft-plastic trailer.

Updated the technique guide: Walking Baits — new loop-knot and leader guidance, upsized trebles, and a downsizing cue for slick-calm water.

Published a new editorial feature — Three for August: bug baits, buzzbaits, and mid-strolling, with why each one works in late summer and what to tie on.

Published the Monthly Tackle Report: Bass Tackle Intelligence Report — August 2026 — urchin availability and pricing, tungsten cost pressure, ICAST's official winners, and the Champlain Top 10 read.

Added Lure Files No. 002 — The Creme Wiggle Worm: the 1949 kitchen-stove soft plastic that started every Texas, wacky, Ned, and dropshot rig on the site.

Added a new technique guide: Cheb Rig (Cheburashka) — the Russian-born modular weight system, now on US shelves via Eurotackle's Switch Rig.
Published a new editorial feature — World Tour: Bass Tackle Beyond Japan (Molix, Fiiish, Savage Gear, and the Cheburashka rig).

Added a new technique guide: Jig Strolling (Jigsuto) — the JDM mid-column jig technique, with a companion JDM shop list.
