Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of JPFish (the "App"), available at jpfish.app. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be 13 or older to use the App. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of catches, photos, notes, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant JPFish a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the App — including in leaderboards, group feeds, and community reports — solely to operate and improve the service. You can delete your content or account at any time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false catch reports, fake tournament entries, or manipulate leaderboards.
  • Upload content that is illegal, harassing, infringing, or violates fishing regulations.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the App's infrastructure.
  • Use the App to harm protected species or fish outside of legal seasons and limits.

4. Fishing & safety disclaimer

JPFish provides weather, lake conditions, bite-time predictions, technique recommendations, and other information for informational and entertainment purposes only. Fishing and boating involve inherent risks. You are solely responsible for your own safety, for complying with all applicable fishing and boating laws, license requirements, season dates, size and creel limits, and for verifying weather and water conditions before going out. Do not rely on the App for navigation or life-safety decisions.

5. Third-party data

Weather, solunar, water-level, and map data come from third-party providers and are delivered "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or availability. External links (e.g., 101knots.com, tackle retailers, YouTube) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JPFish and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of fish, gear, data, profits, or for personal injury or property damage arising from use of the App.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from the Profile page.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
