800-acre City of High Point reservoir with clear-to-lightly-stained water and a deep main basin (55–60 ft at the dam). Submerged humps, an old Johnson Street roadbed, and creek channels run throughout. Hosts NC's first NCWRC/B.A.S.S. Educational Fishing Trail — 11 color-coded buoys (blue = spring/fall, green = summer/winter) marking placed brush, spider blocks, and pineapple attractors. Low dissolved oxygen below ~10 ft in summer stacks fish at the thermocline.

15–25 ft hard-bottom roadbed. Carolina rig or football jig dragged slowly; shaky head in winter.
Main-lake humps (Trail Sites 5 & 6)
Humps rising from 20 ft to 8–12 ft with pineapple attractors — drop shot or Ned rig on 6 lb fluoro for suspended summer fish.
Spring/fall spawning humps (Sites 1, 3, 7, 8)
Shallow 1–6 ft transitions between creeks. Squarebill and spinnerbait in March–May; topwater walking baits at dawn in fall.
Rock outcrop / logging road (Trail Site 10)
Hardest summer/winter spot at 18–28 ft — football jig or tube mimicking crayfish along the rocks.

Local tip
Follow the buoy colors — blue means shallow spring/fall structure, green means deep summer/winter structure. In summer, never fish below 10 ft regardless of how deep the structure runs; low DO pushes every active fish up to the thermocline.
