Good Water
Clear to lightly stained water, 4–12 ft around visible or semi-visible targets, algae/muck/sparse grass, high-pressure banks where a Ned or shaky head is overused.
Bad Water
Heavy matted vegetation, dirty water where fish can't track the fall, fast current or heavy wind that prevents bottom contact.
